The Undergraduate Degree Completion Program is a 16-20 course program* designed for highly motivated individuals who have completed at least 52 undergraduate credits and seek to finish their bachelor's degree. Students can join the program at any of the six starting dates during the year (January, March, May, July, September, and October), and complete their studies in as little as 30 months.
* Depending on number of undergraduate credits transferred.
Program Focus
The program is totally online so you are never required to attend an on-campus class. You may want to travel to Boston for graduation ceremonies, but that is entirely up to you.
Students will develop a thorough understanding of the arts and humanities, the social sciences, and fundamentals of sciencedisciplines that are highly valued in today's business climate, where success often depends on interpersonal awareness, critical thinking skills, and human factors.
Rather than broad surveys, these courses focus on a particular aspect of various fields of study to examine the issues, methods, and overarching theories within that field.
The goals of the program are for students to:
- Engage in interdisciplinary learning in the classical and contemporary liberal arts by detailed study of particular themes and disciplines
- Develop critical thinking skills by analyzing and synthesizing all ways of knowing
- Acquire rhetorical acumen through writing and discussion
- Foster active citizenship by applying the liberal arts to the professional and public spheres
- Pursue learning for learning's sake
